To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me

To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before
last.

Date: 2009-03-23, 3:43AM EST

I was the guy with the black Burberry jacket that you demanded I
hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend.
You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings.

I hope you somehow come across this message. I'd like to
apologize. I didn't expect you to crap in your pants when I drew my
pistol after you took my jacket. Truth is, I was wearing the jacket for
a reason that evening, and it wasn't that cold outside.

You see, my girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911
.45 ACP pistol for Christmas, and we had just picked up a shoulder
holster for it that evening. Beautiful pistol, eh?

It's a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head, isn't
it? I know it probably wasn't a great deal of fun walking back to
wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge flopping about in your
pants. I'm sure it was even worse since you also ended up leaving your
shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. I couldn't have you calling up
any of your buddies to come help you try to mug us again.

I took the liberty of calling your mother, or "Momma" as you had
her listed in your cell, and explaining to her your situation. I also
bought myself and four other people in the gas station this morning a
tank full of gas on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home
took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful! I gave your shoes to one of
the homeless guys over by Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all of the cash
in your wallet.

I threw the wallet in a fancy pink "pimp mobile" parked at the
curb after I broke the windshield and side window out and keyed the
drivers side. I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell
phone. They'll be on your bill in case you'd like to know which ones. Ma
Bell just shut down the line, and I've only had the phone for a little
over a day now, so I don't know what's going on with that. I hope they
haven't permanently cut off your service.

I could only get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's
office and one to the FBI with it. The FBI guy was really pissed and we
had a long chat (I guess while he traced the number).

I'd also like to apologize for not killing you and instead
making you walk back home humiliated. I'm hoping that you'll reconsider
your choice of path in life. Next time you might not be so lucky.

Treasury Looking At Ways to Aid Insurance Companies

Donna Fuscaldo
FOXBusiness

The Treasury Department is looking at ways to aid insurance companies as part of the rescue package announced earlier this month.

FOX Business Network’s Peter Barnes reported the Treasury has an internal task force looking at ways to help insurance companies. The assistance is expected to come as part of the economic stabilization legislation announced in October, since insurance companies are consider financial institutions and are thus covered under the package.

Sources told FOX Business Network that the assistance to insurance companies could be between $50 billion and $100 billion, and would be in the form of buying distressed assets. A formal announcement on the aid may not come until after the election on Nov. 4.

Like most financial institutions, insurance companies have been taking a hit on investment losses and because of their exposure to mortgages. In recent weeks, insurance companies including Hartford Financial Services (HIG: 24.30, +3.39, +16.21%) and MetLife (MET: 29.80, +1.96, +7.04%) has raised capital. Hartford raised $2.5 billion in capital from German insurer Allianz and MetLife raised $2 billion from a stock offering.

MetLife even approached Hartford about a merger, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal, though a person familiar with the matter told FOX Business that the report was incorrect and no contact between the companies regarding a merger had occurred. Both insurers declined to comment on the matter.

Separately the U.S. Department of Commerce announced Friday it launched a Web site, www.economicrecovery.gov , which is a resource for the latest information about economic issues and what the government is doing to improve the economy.

As Linda Woodward put her child into the car at a Knoxville, Tenn., service station, three men accosted her. One man demanded she surrender her car keys, then stabbed her in the side with a knife when she refused. Despite the injury, Woodward continued to struggle with the bandits, and, when she was able to withdraw a pistol from her purse, they took off running."

Mary Jo Netherton, 61, refused the midnight stranger's request to use the phone in her Knoxville, Tennessee, home. Suddenly, the 26-year-old invader burst through her front door and began hitting and shoving the woman across the room. Pointing a gun at her head, the intruder demanded the receipts from a restaurant she operates. Helpless, Netherton feared she would be killed without her hearing-impaired boy-friend--asleep in the next room--ever coming to her rescue. She was wrong. From the darkness, James Roy Patton emerged, shoving a snubnose .38 into the assailant's chest and firing. Though the criminal had donned a bullet-proof vest, it fit too loosely, allowing the bullet to find its mark. The crook, who had an extensive violent criminal history, including fleeing police and weapons charges from just four months prior to Netherton's assault, died. 'They were lucky. If they had not had a gun in the house, they'd have been dead,' Knoxville Police Investigator Mike Hyde said."

Police say the couple immediately returned home and found the burglar inside trying to remove a television set. That's when the homeowner pulled a .22 pistol and fired two shots, wounding the intruder and causing him to flee. He was later apprehended. When a local reporter asked Knoxville, Tenn., policeman Mark Pressley the impertinent question of whether the couple would be charged in the incident, he replied, 'They're kind of the innocent victims here. The Clintons

Subject: Hillary and Bill

If Hillary wins in 2008 and Bill is 'appointed' to fill her Senate seat and either live to retire 'they' (together or alone) would get two US Presidential retirement checks, two US Senate retirement checks, and a retirement check from the State of Arkansas. About the only thing they MIGHT NOT get is a Social Security check....but I wouldn't bet on it....

I understand Bill has earned $40,000,000 in the past six years.

What a guy!

AND THE REST OF THE STORY... Hilarious Rotten Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under the 'Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan,' which means that even if she never gets reelected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies. (Would it not be nice if all Americans were pension eligible after only 4 years?)

If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary outlives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who pays for that?

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua, New York. Makes sense!

They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life.

Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence 'had' to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents. The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, this is all perfectly legal! As she runs for President, will YOU vote for her? How many people can YOU send this to?

WNOX-FM: "DMV Crash

(Leesburg, VA) -- Things didn't go very well for a student driver in Virginia who was taking her road test, considering she crashed into the Department of Motor Vehicles building. Authorities in Leesburg say 28-year-old Nita Sureka was behind the wheel of the Volkswagon on Saturday taking the test when she accidentally hit the gas while trying to park. The result was a collision into a brick wall. The building suffered enough damage that the DMV had to shut down for the day. Not only did Sureka fail the test, she was also slapped with a reckless driving citation."
